La Vendée

The Vendée offers you a wide variety of places to visit.

Le Beau Coin is only an hour from the Vendée coast with its beautiful beaches, such as les Sable d’Olonne, and an hour from the Western Loire and its famous châteaux.

There are many towns and cities to explore – La Rochelle (1 hr), La Roche sur Yon (1 hr), Nantes (75 mins), Cholet (1 hr), Poitiers (75 mins), Niort (1 hr).

The Grand Parc du Puy du Fou (35 min) is a great place to visit with the family. You can spend 1 or 2 days at the Grand Parc and experience and learn about the history of the Vendée.

The Pescalis fishing centre is only 20 minutes away.

Closer to us, there is the Tower of Bazoges en Pareds, the Museum of the Two Victories Clemenceau-de Lattre at Mouilleron en Pareds, the Mining Centre at Faymoreau, the abbeys at Nieul sur l’Autise and Maillezais, the Forest of Mervent- Vouvant, and much more. There are many marked foot and cycle paths close to Le Beau Coin.
